About Ruined Portal

Ruined Portals are decayed Nether Portal remnants in Minecraft, found in all biomes in both the Overworld and Nether in Java and Bedrock Edition. Each portal frame is made of crying obsidian and regular obsidian, and may be partially buried, submerged, or exposed. They spawn with nearby gold blocks and a chest containing early-game Nether-related loot. Use the Ruined Portal Finder with your world seed to locate the nearest portal quickly.
