Ancient Cities are rare underground structures in the Deep Dark biome, introduced in Minecraft's Wild Update. Built mainly of Deepslate and filled with Sculk blocks, these cities contain central shrines with Sculk Catalysts and highly valuable loot. They are extremely dangerous due to Sculk Sensors and the Warden, making exploration challenging but rewarding.

How to Find Ancient City In Minecraft

Ancient Cities generate deep underground between Y-levels -52 and -51. Locate them by listening for the distinctive sounds of Sculk blocks or the Warden's heartbeat. Using Night Vision potions and moving cautiously is recommended. Their massive, unique architecture can also help identify them on the map.
