About Ancient City Finder
Ancient Cities are massive ruined structures buried deep underground in the Deep Dark biome, introduced in Minecraft 1.19. Built from Deepslate, Sculk, and Reinforced Deepslate, they hold some of the most valuable loot in the game — including Swift Sneak books and Echo Shards found nowhere else. The Warden patrols every city: trigger a Sculk Shrieker four times and it spawns. Both Java and Bedrock Edition include the Deep Dark and ancient cities. The Ancient City Finder maps every city in your world from your seed.
How to Find Ancient City In Minecraft
Ancient Cities generate around Y=-52 inside Deep Dark biomes, which only appear below mountain regions. Move slowly and avoid Sculk Sensors and Shriekers — they trigger the Warden's spawn. Crouching constantly and walking on wool blocks (which muffle sound) is the standard approach. Night Vision potions make navigation significantly easier.
