About Copper Ore Finder

Copper ore is the only Minecraft block that oxidizes over time, slowly shifting from orange to teal green when exposed to air. It generates in massive veins throughout the Overworld, with dripstone caves boosting copper density significantly. Raw copper smelts into copper ingots, which fuel lightning rods, spyglasses, copper bulbs, and decorative oxidizing builds. Java and Bedrock share the same copper generation logic. The Copper Finder pulls exact copper coordinates from your seed, dripstone caves included.

How to Find Copper Ore In Minecraft

Copper ore generates between Y=-16 and Y=112, peaking at Y=48. Veins can contain up to 18 blocks and frequently appear near dripstone cave systems where density spikes. A stone pickaxe or better is required to drop copper, and Fortune enchantments boost raw copper yields. Enter your seed into the Copper Finder to find the largest nearby veins in your world.
